Description
The VISOCOLOR® alpha Carbonate Hardness Test Kit is for the titrimetric determination of carbonate hardness.
The test is performed as a titration with hydrochloric acid against a mixed indicator, which changes color at pH 4.5. Carbonate hardness is that portion of calcium and magnesium ions which are present as carbonate or hydrogen carbonate.
Suitable for testing sea water.
