Description
For the fast and easy determination of ammonium in water. QUANTOFIX® Ammonium includes test strips and liquid reagents. Results are obtained within 10 seconds.
In nature, ammonia results from the biological decay of organic matter. High concentrations can be found in rural, farming areas where fertilisers are regularly used. Also, industrial effluents may contain ammonia in higher levels. Ammonium levels > 1 mg/L are poisonous to aquatic life.
QUANTOFIX® Ammonium is intended for the detection of ammonium in surface and drinking water and in industrial waste water which does not contain high concentrations of interfering ions (such as water hardeners, iron and sulfide).
